I have included this brief guide on birthday numerology for the purpose of better understanding how numbers are symbols, and how these symbols play a part in our lives.

As mentioned on the Spiritual Meaning of Numbers page, every number has a certain power that expresses it's connection to the universe. Numbers have relationships with all things in nature, thus making them supremely powerful symbolic expressions.

By reducing an important date (such as our birthday) into one number, we can then refer to the symbolism of that number and then gain knowledge about various aspects of ourselves and our lives.

Birthday numerology is used to reduce your birth date to a vibratory number by adding the day of the month, the number of the month and all the number that make up the year in the date you are wanting a number symbol for.

How To Get Your Birthday Number

To reduce a date in order to get its single vibratory number, simply follow this formula:

Day + Month + Year = Single Vibratory Number

Days, months, and years that have more than one digit will be added separately.

What about days? The 31st day of a month will be added as: 3 + 1 = 4. Four is the vibratory number for that day.

What about years? The year 1997 will be added as: 1 + 9 + 9 + 7 = 26. Twenty six will now need to be reduced again to get the single number. So, take 2 + 6 = 8. Eight is the number symbol for 1997.

What about months? Follow the chart below for the single number representing each month.

September	9
October	1 (10 = 1 because 1 + 0 = 1)
November	2 (11 = 2 because 1 + 1 = 2)
December	3 (12 = 3 because 1 + 2 = 3)

Thus, a person born on October 13, 1964 would determine their single number symbol by adding the following:

1 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 6 + 4 = 25.

Now: 2 + 5 = 7.

 The person born on this date has a vibrational number of Seven Birthday numerology represents the vibratory influence existing at the time of birth. As such, these numbers are determined in order for us to gain further knowledge on our individual being, and how we are affected by vibratory influences.

Birthday numerology is merely another tool for self-discovery. Although it can be incredibly helpful and accurate, it should also be noted that our own lives, destinies, and futures are our own responsibilities. In other words: numbers cannot determine your fate, only YOU have control over that.
